day 100: puzzles

First of all, the whole As Heard team would like to wish you a happy 100 days. We all hope there will be a lot of 100 days to come!

The art piece above was created by Montrealer artist Jean-Pierre Seguin. While I do not know much, or at least as much as LB in terms of visual arts, I definitely recommend his work to anyone even slightly interested in this domain. To realize his work, Jean-Pierre Seguin uses various mediums, usually tiny objects, to create a feeling of pixelisation. For example, he has created a series of portraits using only small buttons of different colors, creating a pixelated portrait of his subjects. In annother case, the portraits were made solely of small marbles.  Jean-Pierre Seguin is regurlarly exposing in New York City at the OK Harris Gallery in Soho. Check it out.
