One of Minus‘ predominant artist Heartthrob will be playing Fabric on saturday and he offers you this full quality track as an incentive. It seems more expressive than most of his past work. The main line, which is predominant does it for me. It’s real fun to hear grainy aggressive synths and bass lines in minimal, the way Cobblestone Jazz, Extrawelt and Minilogue do it.

day 13: Free Fall

Freier Fall

Looking at some djs’ and producers’ charts today, I couldn’t stop myself from being amazed at the quantity of electronic music being made these days. There is so much out there, but so little is interesting. Steinmüller, however, stands amongst the latter category. With his ep Freier Fall, he gives us a blend of minimal-tech, acid and techno which is both extremely effective on a dancefloor, and for a home listen, and this is something every producer out there should try to aim for.
