As Heard From Mars

One of Minus‘ predominant artist Heartthrob will be playing Fabric on saturday and he offers you this full quality track as an incentive. It seems more expressive than most of his past work. The main line, which is predominant does it for me. It’s real fun to hear grainy aggressive synths and bass lines in minimal, the way Cobblestone Jazz, Extrawelt and Minilogue do it.

A small while ago, eclectic techno champs Extrawelt released the Neuland Ep on Darkroom Dubs (Silicone Soul’s label). Their sound is always astonishing, at the same time melodic and unpredictable. This one is similar to Stimming’s work. It is built around the same central groove, but variations never cease. This is how I like my techno.

Il y a parfois un temps où les sentiments ne peuvent être exprimés par des mots. C’est à cet instant que les images et la musique se chargent de transmettre les émotions. En ce qui a trait au second médium, ce sont les remix de Max Cooper pour Extrawelt qui collent le plus à mon brouillamini émotionnel. Paru dans le EP Deine Beine sous le label Traum Schallplatten, le remix de Cooper de Mit Liese Auf Der Wiese correspond parfaitement à mon état actuel: mélodique et émotif.  Il n’est pas nécessaire d’en dire plus, il s’agit maintenant d’écouter.
