I’m not saying it’s perfect, and yes, the horns will eventually get on your nerves, but Steve Angello’s collaboration with AN21, resulting in two singles (Flonko and Valodja) is defenitely a step aside of what we might expect from this extremelly popular progressive house producer. While we are used to emotional, epic journeys into a realm of sensuality and eroticness, Angello surprises us with his western/mexican horns and the lack of female vocals. The guy has definitely been listening to Riva Starr. He gets a 10 on 10 for originality + 1 for surprise.
