day 54: Hazel

In my opinion, Junior Boys‘ Hazel was quite a dull effort compared to their previous work. Don’t get me wrong, I love Junior Boys, I just thought this one was a somewhat weaker. Released in April on Domino, the Hazel single featured 3 different remixes from Ewan Pearson. According to me, the album version lacked some personality and profoundness, but Ewan Pearson’s reworks are worth a listen. This dub is amazing!
